Mauer, nee Nowakowski, of Schererville, IN, Lansing, IL and the east side, age 61, passed away at home on January 28, 2004 in the arms of her family, survived by her husband of 42 years John; loving mother of Lynn (Steven) Lange, John and Michael (Jill) Mauer; five grandchildren; loving daughter of Regina Kopaczewski; fond daughter in-law of Alyce Mauer; beloved sister of Renette (Raymond) Cuevas; fond sister in-law of Peggy Nowakowski and Ralph Mauer; nieces and nephews.
