Courtney Love is opening her diaries.
The former Hole singer, who released “Journals,” the diaries of her late husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, is shopping around a book about her life and loves, MTV reports.
“The book features Courtney’s legendary writings that have been whispered and wondered about for years but that no one has ever seen,” said Love’s literary agent, David Vigliano. “They’re like the literary equivalent of Bob Dylan’s Bootleg Series.”
O … K …
We do know, at least, that the 250-page “Love Diaries: My Life in Words and Pictures” is expected to contain diary entries, love letters and notes to Cobain, along with photos of Cobain and their child, Frances Bean.
It will unveil unpublished lyrics, probation reports from juvenile-hall stays and sketches for fashion designs, including those made while Love was detained at London’s Heathrow Airport in February 2003.
“This is too big a life to be contained by a standard autobiography,” Vigliano said.
The book is set for fall publication. Until then, look for Love’s first solo album and latest court appearance next week.
