Your column on winterwear shoppers warmed me on this wintry day. (“Winterwear shoppers left in cold,” by Amy Tara Koch, Jan. 30) Thanks for printing what so many of us have been complaining about for years. For me it’s been at least 50 years.

Guess I just gave up hoping one day a store would carry clothing for all seasons for a full year before bringing in the new styles. Winter stuff would be carried through the spring summer and fall until the next line of winter apparel would come out and in all sizes. Why can’t we have a floor accommodating all the seasons? And while we are at it, why can’t we get classic black clothing in this store for all seasons? If I had the cash I would have opened the shop myself. It’s not fun to go to the stores when you are forced to shop their schedule. I’ll just make do for another season. Oh well.
