Delbert William Worden, 78, of Lombard, formerly of Elmhurst, beloved husband of Mary Jane, nee Wright; loving father of Sue McCollum and Jim (Patty); grandfather of Sarah, Matthew and Patrick McCollum; brother of Delores McCann, Audrey Zeimet and the late Dorothy (Robert) Zeigler, Kenneth (the late Jeanie) Worden; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a WWII Navy Veteran having served on the USS Witter and a member of the Henry A. Honack V.F.W. #1583. He was an avid golfer and Cubs fan. He will be dearly missed by many. Visitation at The Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst, from 3 to 8 p.m Wednesday. Services 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 4. Interment private.
