I wholeheartedly agree with Mary Ann Fogarty (“Missing laughs,” Voice of the people, Jan. 24) in her assessment of the deterioration of the Tribune’s Comics section. With all the negative and depressing happenings in the world, wouldn’t it brighten the day to have one part of the paper in which one could laugh at some silly and meaningless things?
