With 1930s glamor lording over the runways and red carpet, no look is complete without voluminous lashes. But creating perfect lashes is no easy feat. The secret? Learning insider tricks to thicken, extend and maximize the drama of a lashline.
“The trick is to use a primer to extend the lash, at least two coats of thickening mascara and a lash comb to avoid clumping” explains Caprice Gray, “it” celebrity makeup artist for L.A.-based Smashbox Cosmetics. “There are three major trends right now: Red Carpet Luxe, Everyday Glam and Edgy Rock Star.”
