I think it should be a law that no press or media outlet should be allowed to display polling figures (whether exit or not) while any voting booths are open during election days–even if the poll was taken the day before or a month before. Showing polls that state certain individuals will win or not win can be damaging or helpful to those running for office. We all know that if we see our candidate losing (or winning, for that matter), we won’t bother to go vote.
