Helen Grace Phillips, nee Smith, 82, Jan. 31, late of Oklahoma City, OK, beloved wife of the late Warren Phillips and Ken Bartel; loving mother of Kendra and Kevin Bartel; fond sister of Anita (Cyril) Schindler, Cecil (Suzanne) Smith, Joan Easton and the late Elizabeth Hans; grandmother of one and great-grandmother of two. Helen was a longtime resident of Chicago’s Beverly area, graduate of Academy of Our Lady, where she excelled in art and cello. She was also a graduate of Ward Belmont in Tennessee and served as a WAC in WWII. Service and interment private. Arrangements by Donnellan Funeral Home, 773-238-0075 .
