You loved him on “In Living Color.” You were in his corner in “Ali.” And you rooted for him in “Any Given Sunday.” Now you can catch Jamie Foxx in a return engagement on the ESPYs, ESPN’s annual awards show.
Foxx will be host of the 12th annual ESPY Awards, which will take place Wednesday, July 14, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The show doesn’t air, however, until Sunday, July 18, which is enough tape-delay lag time for a complete Janet Jackson strip tease.
At last year’s ESPYs, Foxx did musical numbers spoofing tennis star Serena Williams and basketball hotshot LeBron James.
“I had a great time last year,” Foxx said, “and we’re gonna take it up a notch.”
