Florian “Tom” Rath, 89, beloved husband of Florence, nee Ratkowski, for 64 years; loving father of Margaret “Peg” (Ray) Varga and Fern (Monte) Neuhart; cherished grandfather of Thomas (Cheryl) Varga, Brian (Rose) and Keith Robling; great-grandfather of two. Tom was a retired Captain for the Chicago Fire Department. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday at the Addolorata Villa Chapel, 555 McHenry Road, Wheeling. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
