Editor’s note: The following letter is in response to Phillip Thompson’s Feb. 3 column, “Janet, your show was lost on me.”
I would love for you to send me the stories you wrote on Madonna and Britney’s kiss. (Isn’t Madonna the author of some children’s books?) I would also like the stories you wrote on “The Osbournes.” (Don’t the children curse out the parents on that show?)
Where was the FCC when all of this took place? You made it very clear that you don’t like Janet. Now, as her punishment, do you think it is fair for CBS to ban her from the Grammys and to not air “The Lena Horne Story,” which she stars in?
Madonna played Evita. What was your take on that? Is it racism or a conspiracy? You probably have no comment.
