Robert I. Gust, age 63, a longtime resident of Park Forest, passed away on February 8th. Robert was the beloved husband of Marcia “Mickie” (nee Stellner); loving father of Suzanne Gust (fiance Kenneth Bastasich), Jason Gust, Keith Gust and Richard Gust; dear brother of Ken (Eija) Gust, Larry (Laura) Gust; cherished grandfather of Rosie and Kody Gust; also survived by his mother-in-law Violet Stellner; he was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Adone and also his brothers Gregg and Tom Gust. Robert worked for the Chicago Tribune for 37 years retiring in 2002. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Park Forest, one of his greatest joys in retirement was spending time with his loving family, he also enjoyed fishing and working on his computer.
