“American Idol” contestants looking to put Simon Cowell in his place should take a lesson from Homer Simpson.
Television’s most bumbling dad is set to take on the nasty “Idol” judge in a “Simpsons” episode airing later this month.
When Cowell, who plays a nursery school admissions officer, makes baby Maggie cry with his harsh words, Homer rushes to his daughter’s defense and takes the critic down.
Cowell gave his “Simpsons” cameo rave reviews.
“It’s the best thing I’ve ever been asked to do,” he told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper.
