Jon M. Cruse, age 40, devoted husband, father, uncle, brother and friend to so many people, passed away on Feb. 8, 2004 in Naperville, IL after a heroic struggle with lymphoma. He was born to Robert and Dee Evans Cruse in Oak Lawn, IL on April 29, 1963. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Rita’s Catholic Church. Jon graduated from Western Illinois University in 1984 and married Kelly O’Hagan on Sept. 10, 1989. He was the proud father of Kaitlin Danielle, age 9 and Kelsey Nicole, age 7. Jon was known as a man who loved his family deeply and who always hosted the best parties. He was a man with a wonderful sense of humor and he charmed everyone he knew. Jon worked for many years in the beverage industry, most recently as Director of Sales at Pabst Brewing. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004 at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Dr. (Rt. 59), Naperville, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 111th and Book Rd., at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the Cruse Children’s Education Fund may be sent c/o the funeral home.
