This is regarding “Court says gays entitled to marriage; Massachusetts sets stage for 1st same-sex wedding” (Page 1, Feb. 5). The decision by the Massachusetts high court on gay marriage is very disturbing to me. Just four justices on that court are effectively imposing their radical views of marriage. Never mind that a majority of the people in the U.S. or even Massachusetts would ever support gay marriage; these judges decided they knew better. Never mind that marriage is a sacred institution, in place for thousands of years, and a critical foundation to a civil society; these judges decided that they could redefine it at a whim.

We critically need a marriage amendment to the U.S. Constitution to correct this judicial tyranny.
