Yoga master Bikram Choudhury is being sued after claiming he owns the copyright to a 26-posture series used in the practice.

Choudhury has sent cease-and-desist letters to more than 100 Bikram yoga schools and teachers, accusing them of violating his copyright and trademark. He says they employed instructors not trained by him, said a lawyer for a group that received a letter.

In response, that group has sued Choudhury, arguing his claims are unenforceable.
