Susanne Schick, 84, of Harbert, MI, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 9, 2004, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. (CST), Friday, at Mount Hope Cemetery in Chicago, IL. Pobocik Funeral Home, Three Oaks, MI is serving the family. 269-756-3831 . Mrs. Schick was born May 22, 1919, in Chicago, IL to Samuel and Josephine, nee Shepherd, Artingstall. She grew up in Chicago, and, after graduating from high school, earned her Masters Degree in Human Development. Mrs. Schick taught elementary school in Palos Park, IL, retiring in 1984. In the fall of 1953, she married Armin Schick, he preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Schick enjoyed summers in Harbert since 1922, and made her home there permanently in 1990. She was the loving mother of Samuel Schick, of Harbert, MI, and Susanne Schick, who preceded her in death in 1980.
