Short, nee Ciccarone, 73, formerly of Arlington Heights, Yonkers, N.Y. and current resident of Elk Grove Village, loving wife of Thomas A. “Tom”; dearest mother of Nancy (Al) Borre, Bill Short, Jay (Sue) Short and Ginny (Mark) Dybicz; loved grandmother of Chris Kozem, Lukas, Geoffrey and Calvin Dybicz. She was preceded in death by her parents the late Adamo and Guilia Ciccarone; dear sister of the late Alfred, Clara D’Onofrio, Aurora De Cicco, Albert and Adam Ciccarone. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004 where funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Family and friends will meet 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hampshire Center Cemetery for interment service.
