Notes from New York’s Fashion Week Fall 2004:
– Kenneth Cole’s show featured colors uncharacteristic of the designer, sending female and male models down the runway in bright red overcoats.
– Raika D.’s fall clothes–bare, bright and tight–had the seasonless look that Californians would seem to favor. Fittingly, the first model to walk down the catwalk was Nicky Hilton.
– Diane von Furstenberg’s Glamazone collection was theatrical and colorful. Capelets and capes fluttered off coats, and hoods were attached to jackets, dresses and blouses.
