The Bush administration emphatically denies it ever asserted the threat from Iraq was “imminent” (“Tenet: CIA never said Iraq threat imminent,” Page 1, Feb. 6). If the threat wasn’t imminent, why was it necessary to launch an invasion before the United Nations inspectors had completed their task?
