Beloved son of the late Stephen Sr. and the late Balbina, nee Szymanski; stepson of Julia, nee Mikos; loving brother of Loretta Turek, Bernadine (the late Ronald) Rodeo, Lucille (the late Gene) Geirut, Joseph (Mary) Siwek and Stephen Jr. (Marlene) Siwek; dear uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ordained May 1, 1956 by Samuel Cardinal Stritch at St. Mary of the Lake Seminary. Father served at St. Simeon in Bellwood 1956-1965, St. Roman 1965-1966, Our Lady of Knock 1966-1970, St. Martin 1970-1972, St. Constance 1972-1976, St. Josaphat 1976, Immaculate Heart of Mary 1976-1981, St. Richard 1981 until his retirement in 1999. Father also served as Dean of Vicariate V-B. He will lie in state Friday, February 13, 2004, from 2 to 9 p.m. at St. Richard Church, 5000 S. Kostner, Chicago, IL. Liturgical Wake Service 7:30 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, February 14, 2004, from 8 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
