The article about Jean Flynn told of the love of students in a Catholic school for their teacher who died of cancer. A 13-year-old student said of her, “She was the kind of teacher who would stop the class and have us look out the window to see a butterfly or a flower in bloom. She taught us that God has a plan for all of us.”
It caused me to think: What is a good teacher? To me, teaching youngsters how to live as well as preparing them for test taking and work make a good teacher such as Jean Flynn.
