Glenn W. Johnson, 88, of Fort Myers Beach, FL, passed away February 2, 2004, a former resident of Chicago, he had resided in Fort Myers Beach since 1984. He was born October 24, 1915 in Chicago, a son of the late Fred and Alma Johnson, he spent 35 years with the Milwaukee Road Railroad as a Draftsman and Engineer retiring in 1978. He was also a Shriner and Mason and a member of the Glenview Lodge 1058. Survivors include his loving wife Laverne M. Johnson of Fort Myers Beach, FL; son, Dr. Randy G. Johnson, M.D. of St. Louis, MO, daughter, Linda M. (Clyde) Pittman of Satellite Beach, FL; sister, Helen Martinson of Chicago; and seven grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, February 15, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago. Funeral service Monday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Rosehill Cemetery.
