Dorothy Macal, nee Cepuder, 81, a 24-year resident of Sun City, Arizona, formerly of Chicago, passed away November 11, 2003. Born in Chicago May 13, 1922, she was a graduate of Farragut High School and a long-time employee of National Can Co. A kind and gentle person, she will always be remembered for her devotion to family. She is survived by her husband Charles A. Macal; sons Timothy J. Macal Sr. (Joyce) and Dr. Charles M. Macal (Kathryn); grandchildren Amy Jambor (Michael), Timothy J. Macal Jr. (Kristen Prinz), and Christopher C. Macal; great-granddaughter Ava M. Jambor; four nieces, and two nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Josephine Rybicke and Florence Bernatski, brothers Emil, Leopold, and William Cepuder; and granddaughter Amanda L. Macal. Private services are pending in Chicago.
