Warner, 85 years, 82nd Airborne Division, WW II Veteran of Sicilian, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Normandy, Rhineland combat theaters, wounded in action in Holland; recipient of the: Silver Battle Star, four Bronze Battle Stars, Distinguished Unit Presidential Badge, Purple Heart and many other medals; POW; beloved husband of the late Evelyn; loving father of Betty Ann Warner; fond brother of Russell and the late Willard (Sylvia) and Virginia a.k.a. ‘Sis’; adoring uncle of Lynne (Dieter) Schroeder, Wanda, Woody and Wayne; dear friend to Bogie, Colleen, Kyle and Richard.
