Lester E. Finkel, age 94, beloved husband of 65 years of the late Evelyn, nee Schyman; loving father of Bill (Doris) and Susan (Michael) Zelmar; adored “Poppie” of Marcy and Karen Zelmar, Jori, Todd and Peter Finkel; dear brother of the late Harold, Arthur (Lillian) and Elsie. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Lester’s passion for golf lead him to organize the Wheeling Senoir Golf League. Memorial service Wednesday 1 p.m. at Cong. B’nai Torah, 2789 Oak St., Highland Park. Interment private. In lieu of flowers contributions to your favorite charity appreciated.
