Economists, Republicans and Democrats can argue all they want about whether or not President Bush’ predictions for 2.6 million new jobs by year-end is realistic (“Bush report predicts big jobs growth; 2004 forecast too optimistic, critics respond,” News, Feb. 10).
The fact is, we will all have a darn good idea before the November election and at that time we will be able to ask ourselves that good old question: Are we better off with Bush or are we better off without him?
