Tuesday is the last day to register to vote in the March 16 Illinois primary.
To register, a resident must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Registration is required for residents who have moved, never voted or changed their names.
In Cook County, new voters can sign up at the county clerk’s office or one of its satellite offices, township halls, driver’s license facilities, Chicago libraries or any number of sites holding registration drives.
