John M. Smidl, 83, of Mercer, WI and formerly of Berwyn, IL, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, in Mercer. Survived by wife Margaret, nee Barta, Mercer; sons John (Kim) of Raymore, MO and David of Springfield, MO and daughters Mary Dyer of Boisd’Arc, MO and Teresa Griffin of Glencoe, MN; and five grandchildren. Funeral services Friday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at McKevittPatrick Funeral Home in Ironwood, MI, with visitation one hour prior to service. Spring interment in Mercer Cemetery.
