Liliane Durham, nee Kurtz, beloved wife of the late David; loving mother of Danielle (Peter) Lawson, Denise (Michael) Fox, Charles (Ginou); cherished grandmother of Sean, Kathleen, Michael, Christopher, Lynn and Laura; dear aunt and friend to many. Liliane came to the United States from France for college and remained here after meeting her future husband, David. She became a teacher and taught French at Evanston High School until her retirement. Most recently, she volunteered at the House of Welcome for Alzheimers patients and taught French at the North Shore Senior Center. A memorial service will be planned with final interment in Ithaca, New York. If you wish to remember Liliane please do so with a donation to the Chicago Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
