There is no question about it, Saddam Hussein was an evil dictator and, in the long run, Iraq should be a much better place without him. He was no imminent threat to the United States though. And he apparently had nothing to do with Sept. 11, 2001. He no doubt posed some threat to neighboring countries, but what country in that part of the world doesn’t?

So here is my question to those who decided we should go to war: If you could do it over, would you trade the more than 500 lives that have been taken to be where we are now? If so, could you look their families in the eye and admit it? I didn’t think so.
