Fred W. Hartwig, age 61, passed away in Plano, TX on Feb. 14, 2004. He was born in Chicago on April 1, 1942. He is survived by his sons, Rick Hartwig (wife, Cheryl Drabe) of Carrollton, TX and Steve Hartwig of Plano, TX; stepsons, David Bay-Andersen of Los Angeles, CA, Jeff Bay-Andersen (wife, Ginger) of Frisco, TX; three grandchildren, Asia, Sariea and Luke Williams. Fred enjoyed politics, sports and was a classic car expert. He was a wonderful father, husband and friend and will be dearly missed by his family. Visitation at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th St., Plano, TX on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, Feb. 20, 2004 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
