Bulls center Eddy Curry was fined $300 and ordered to do community service after he pleaded guilty at the Cook County Circuit Court in Skokie on Thursday to driving 103 m.p.h. on the Edens Expressway.

Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Martin Lascola said Curry was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with a class A misdemeanor for driving his late model Cadillac more than 40 m.p.h. over the posted speed limit. Lascola said Curry was driving 103 m.p.h. in a 55-m.p.h. zone when he was stopped by Illinois State Police on the Edens near the Willow Road exit.

Cook County Court Judge Consuelo Bedoya-Witt sentenced Curry to one year of supervision, five days of community service and traffic safety school. The judge also ordered Curry to serve on a victim-impact panel listening to victims of speed- and DUI-related accidents.
