Kathleen “Kay” C. Holthouse, nee Palumbo, 79, of Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 6, 1924, the daughter of Salvatore and Amanda Palumbo. On June 24, 1944, she married Wilbert A. Schuknecht. She married Robert S. Holthouse on Dec. 24, 1992 after the death of Wilbert in 1991. Mrs. Holthouse was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Holthouse; her son, Thomas Schuknecht of Sheboygan, WI; her daughter, Kathleen Gagliardi of Hanover Park, IL; two grandchildren, Brian and Bridget (Scott) Kniola; one great-grandchild, Olivia Kniola; her sisters, Dolores (Joseph) Pancotto and DiAnn (Raymond) Plaza; her brothers, Raymond (Joan) Palumbo and Andrew (Rose) Palumbo; and many nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Joseph (Darlene) Palumbo and Richard Palumbo are deceased. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Blessed Sacrament Church in Allegan and at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan.
