Virginia Amonette Waddock, 84 years, of Albany, GA, died Saturday night, Feb. 14, 2004. Virginia will be missed by her close friends in Albany and the Chicago area, where she lived for 30 years. Throughout these years, Virginia was active in Ikebana International, The Art Institute of Chicago, and other civic organizations, including the American Red Cross as a regional director and later as a volunteer. Virginia loved her early involvement in Albany’s Little Theatre, the Junior League and was later president of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority for several years. Relatives are her daughter, Frances E. Waddock of Chicago; brother, Joseph Amonette, Jr. of Dundee, FL; and niece, Kim Amonette Johnson of Atlanta, GA.
