Kenneth A. Drew, age 52, of Wauconda, IL, for 26 years, formerly of Crystal Lake, IL, for 20 years. Beloved husband for 26 years of Tara Marie, nee Ryan; loving father of Kevin Michael Drew; cherished son of Jeanette M. and the late Arthur J.; devoted brother of Richard A. Drew of Crystal Lake, Carol A. Hardy of Palatine and Susan M. (Jan) Steen of Round Rock, TX; fond son-in-law of Marian Ryan of Highland Park; dear brother-inlaw of Patrick F. (Loraine) Ryan of Ingleside, Michael J. Ryan of Highland Park, Thomas M. (Laureen) Ryan and Sean F. (Jill) Ryan, both of Island Lake; many beloved nieces and nephews and the late Rebecca Lynn. Kenneth was born July 3, 1951, in Bethesda, MD. He passed away at his Wauconda home Feb. 20, after lengthy illnesses. Kenneth was a letter carrier of USPS, Barrington, IL. A U.S. Army veteran, he served from 1969-1972. He was a decorated sniper serving the 5th/7th 1st Air Calvary in Vietnam and Cambodia. Upon his return he was selected a member of the Honor Guard and served both the White House and Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC.
