Thought you’d heard the last word on Janet Jackson? Well, WN has a few more to add: Janet is certainly a risk taker. Baring her breast during the Super Bowl halftime show in an attempt to resurrect a sagging career is a publicity stunt that could be called brave, brilliant or foolish. But the decision to have a “costume reveal,” as Jackson put it the next day, was intentional on her part.
We’re not judging, but we are asking women to tell us about the calculated risks they have taken. Some examples: Having sex without a condom or contraceptive. Going out with someone you met online. Jogging alone at night. Confronting your boss at the risk of losing your job.
