The OutKast rapper is close to signing a deal to star as Jimi Hendrix on the big screen, the World Entertainment News Network reports.
Andre made his movie debut alongside Josh Hartnett and Harrison Ford with a bit part in “Hollywood Homicide” and has a cameo in the “Get Shorty” sequel “Be Cool.” Sources say he’d begin the Hendrix feature after finishing work on “Be Cool.”
