Fred W. Korber, 83, of Columbia, SC, formerly of Palatine, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2004. Fred was the loving father of Jack (Kathleen) Korber of Livingston, TX, Jill Haselwood of Greer, SC, Kim Korber of Chicago, IL, Karen (Ed) Roper of Columbia, SC; cherished grandfather of Brad, Elizabeth, Richard, Katharine, Will and Mary Frances; great-grandfather of Drew and Megan; he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jean Burpee Korber; he leaves many friends and relatives in the Chicago area.
