John Eugene Ohalla, age 82, of Northbrook, IL, passed away on Feb. 25, 2004 in Glenview. He was born in 1922 in East Chicago, IN, of the late Bertha and Jon Ohalla. John is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Norma S., nee Pavlovic, Ohalla; beloved father of Carol Ohalla, John L. Ohalla, James Ohalla, Cathy Horton and Marianne Adamik; loving grandfather of Julie Temperly, Amy Ohalla, Richard Adamik, John R. Adamik, Brian Adamik and Nathan Aaron, Rebecca and Melissa Horton; dearest great-grandfather of Callin, Hannah, Grace Temperly and Jenna Rager; fond brother of the late Billy Ohalla, Lillian Stec and Evelyn Wojdula. Funeral Saturday 8:45 a.m. from Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th St., just west of Harlem), to St. Daniel The Prophet Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Entombment 1 p.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 3300 Springbrook Road, Pleasant Prairie, WI. John was a Veteran of WWII, having served as a pilot in the 48th Bomber Squadron of the United States Army Air Corps. He graduated from DePaul University, lived over five decades in the City of Chicago, and was employed most of his life at E.J.
