John J. Sereno, 84, of Round Lake Beach passed away February 27, 2004 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born in Chicago March 5, 1919, the son of the late Samuel and Lucy, nee Verdico, Sereno. He is survived by his daughters, Charlene Grossi of Arlington Heights and Helene (Ed) Hildebrand of Elmhurst; his grandchildren Eddy and Laura Hildebrand both of Elmhurst; his brother, Anthony (Eva) Sereno of Grayslake; his sisters, Marie Wilczynski of Round Lake and Rita (Lou) Anzalone of Sleepy Hollow; and John’s dear friend, Toni Eiserman of Libertyville. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Colleen, nee Cronin, Sereno; his son, Patrick Sereno; andhis sister, “Dolly” Domenica Morrison. Funeral service is at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately at Mt.
