Michelene S. Budzynski, 85, of Rockford, died Friday, February 27, 2004, at 7:40 p.m., at Wesley Willows Health Care. Born August 10, 1918 in Chicago. Michelene lived 7 years in Rockford coming here from Franklin Park, IL, where she lived for 40 years and was a member of St. Gertrude Church. She married Leonard Budzynski on December 31, 1940, he predeceased her in 1987. Survivors include son, Tim (Vilma) Budzynski; daughters, Phyllis (Gary) Chase, Margie (Bob) Page; seven grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m., Monday, March 1, 2004, at St. Gertrude Church, Franklin Park, with the Rev. Corbo officiating. Visitation at Columbia Funeral Home, Franklin Park, from 6 to 8 p.m., on Sunday, February 29, 2004. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Hillside, IL.
