– The Getting Started column in the Business section of Feb. 22 gave erroneous information about limits on 401(k) contributions. While some plans still have percentage limits, government regulations now permit a maximum annual contribution of $13,000 or 100 percent of an individual’s salary, whichever is less. People over age 50 can contribute up to $16,000.

The Tribune regrets the error.
