Why does Ralph Nader seem so blissfully unaware of reality? The last time he ran for the office of president, the only person who benefited was the very man Nader wished to defeat: George W. Bush.

Nader claims to want what is best for America, and yet his candidacy will have the opposite effect. Bush is far from what is best for America, and all Nader stands to accomplish is to divert the attentions of voters who would otherwise cast their ballots for the Democratic candidate.

Nader will not win, and the price he asks us to pay so that he can enjoy another 15 minutes in the limelight is too dear.

The 2000 election taught us all some valuable realities about our election process. It is a true shame that Nader didn’t learn anything from the experience.
