William J. Karmis, age 62, of Lake Zurich, beloved husband of Kathleen A., nee CzysconMescha; father of Sharon A. (Mark) Mungai, George F. (Lorrayne) Karmis, Nicholas G. (Charlene) Karmis, Anthony Karmis, Keith F. (Amy) Mescha and Donny M. Mescha; grandfather of Amoreena Karmis, Sarah Mungai, Alexandra Karmis, Arianna Karmis, Karissa Rose Karmis, Matthew Mungai, Matthew Mescha, Addison Karmis and Caleigh Mescha; dear son of the late George and the late Anna; brother of Georgianne (Abe) Frankel. Preceded in death by his granddaughter Harper Rae. Born in Chicago, IL, on Oct. 16, 1941; passed away in Lake Zurich, IL, on Feb. 28, 2004. Worked as a computer consultant for 25 years. Owned his own consultant company, WKJ, Inc. Loved music. Loved playing with his grandchildren. Visitation at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday, March 3, 12:30 p.m., to St. Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.
