Joan Holden Fowler, age 86, died Saturday, February 28, 2004. She was born in 1917. She was a longtime Chicago area resident and was an active volunteer. She was married in 1940 to John Fowler who survives her. She is also survived by daughters, Penny Doyle and Judy Fowler; as well as four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her third daughter, Pam Crawford, predeceased her. Services will be held on Friday, March 5, at 3 p.m. at St. Lukes Church, 939 Hinman Avenue, Evanston, IL.
