Three members of her backup band helped stop a carjacking in Palm Beach, Fla., on Tuesday while they were in town rehearsing for an upcoming tour. Two guitar players and the drummer spotted a 91-year-old man being robbed at knifepoint in a drugstore parking lot.
The group used their van to block the bad guy from driving away in the victim’s car. When the suspect fled, the musicians followed him in the van until a drugstore employee managed to tackle and hold him until police arrived.
