The owner of a cell-phone store believed to be kidnapped Feb. 21 remained missing Thursday night despite charges against two men in his disappearance.
Jesus Colon, 44, was last seen in the 3700 block of West Fullerton Avenue, near one of his stores.
Simitrio Sanchez, 21, and Pablo Morales, 31, each have been charged with aggravated kidnapping, criminal damage to property and robbery in the case. Police also arrested a man on drug charges, who later said he was promised $500 to pick up a bag of money for Morales’ ransom and throw it over a nearby fence.
