Eugene D. Lukasik Sr., 90, of Seguin, TX, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2004. Visitation was held Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Goetz Memorial Chapel, with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Reverend Camillo Botello as celebrant. Interment will be private at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Mr. Lukasik was born April 14, 1913 in Chicago, the son of the late Antoni and Felicia Lukasik. On July 4, 1934 he married Mildred Gonsiorowski at All Saints Catholic Church in Chicago, she preceded him in death on April 3, 1998. His brother, Leo Lukasik and sister, Helen Lukasik preceded Mr. Lukasik in death. He is survived by his son, Eugene D. Lukasik, Jr. and wife Helen of Lake Villa, IL; daughter, Mildred Deiker of Seguin, TX; son, Daniel Lukasik of Fox Lake, WI; sister-in-law, Ida Koll of Seguin, TX; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
