The Philadelphia Soul held the Rush scoreless for nearly 24 minutes Sunday, including the entire third quarter, and handed the Rush its first loss of the season, 53-47.
The Rush squandered a 27-14 lead.
“Things fell apart pretty quickly on us,” coach Mike Hohensee said. “We had a chance to put the game away at the end of the first half.”
Rush quarterback Raymond Philyaw finished 18-for-31 for 272 yards.
